A visit to the home of the Vienna Boys' Choir, the Augarten Palace, begins with a workshop for the guest choir under the direction of
Mr. Gerald Wirth, Artistic Director of the Vienna Boys' Choir. After a Viennese coffee break, you may change into your uniforms.
Next attend a private rehearsal of the Vienna Boys' Choir and learn our unique technique of teaching and voice-training before taking
part in a combined rehearsal with the choirs. Another highlight will be a private concert at the Augarten Palace with the Vienna Boys'
Choir and your choir. Rounding off an unforgettable musical experience, their Head Conductor and Artistic Director Gerald Wirth will
award a special certificate to all participants. Your visit ends with a private tour through the conservatory and home of the Vienna Boys' Choir.
1 Day Workshop Program
(Open to all choirs - daily on request from Monday-Friday at the Palais Augarten, 1020 Vienna)
- Workshop with the Guest choir, the Guest choirs´ conductor and the head conductor of the Vienna Boys´ Choir.
- Private rehearsal of the Vienna Boys´ Choir: learn the technique of teaching and voice training from the head conductor of the Vienna Boys'Choir.
- Combined rehearsal under the direction of the head conductor with your choir and the Vienna Boys´ Choir.
- Short private Concert with the Vienna Boys´ Choir and the Guest Choir (The combined music pieces will be conducted by both the Vienna Boys'Choir Head conductor and the Guest conductor)
- Lunch with the Vienna Boys´ Choir
Conducted tour through the conservatory and home of the Vienna Boys´ Choir including historical background and future goals.
Each participant will receive from the head conductor of the Vienna Boys´ Choir a certificate of participation. (Workshops available in german and english language)
Rates per person for the Years 2007/2008
until 30 participants:

until 40 participants and more:
per workshop particiapant:EUR 185,-
per accompanying person:EUR 20,-
Services for accompanying persons include: tour of the home of the Vienna Boys' Choir, coffee and short combined concert!
During the months of July & August 2006 – 2 and 3 days workshops will take place at the summer camp of the Vienna Boys' Choir in Sekirn at
lake Wörthersee in Carinthia/Austria. Detailed program dates and rates on request
